Mixed paper (documents, file folders, packaging filler, bags, books, magazines, etc.) is recovered from commingled loads from construction and manufacturing sites.
Paper Recycling Process
Paper recycling begins with the sorted material is baled and shipped to a paper mill where the paper is put into a hydropulper which soaks and agitates the material to form a pulp. The pulp is screened of remaining contaminants such as inks, staples, tape and other debris.
The pulp is then sprayed onto a screen where rollers and heat are used to remove the water. The large sheets of bonded paper fibers are put into rolls and shipped to manufacturers who cut the material into the end product.
